Clair de Lune Diamond Ring
Unique Engagement Rings like the Clair de Lune are becoming the choice of more and more brides to be. The Clair de Lune is a bewitching design, inspired by nights under the skies of rural France and the classic poetry of Victor Hugo.
The Clair de Lune plays an irresistible trick on the eye, appearing from above as two crescents facing inwards, locking neatly to hold a ravishing diamond. But in profile the illusion is revealed – the setting, rather than being a circle formed of crescents is created by two diamond halos effortlessly twisting up to the peak, where the shimmering diamond sits. This double halo engagement ring has a fluent, curvaceous form, combining that effortless Gallic charm with meticulous design and crafting, to immaculate effect.
Designer Engagement Rings require a sublime brilliant-cut centre diamond. In the Clair de Lune and all of our unique engagement rings – we set G VS diamonds which have wonderful brilliance and are brought to life when set in either platinum, 18ct white, yelloa or rose gold. CLAIR DE LUNE – UNIQUE ENGAGEMENT RINGS
“As a designer I want to create rings that really turn heads and for the right reasons. Every engagement ring designer wants to do something unique with halos. Whilst living in France, living in a small hamlet, the inspiration came for the Clair de Lune collection. In the evening I used to walk my dog around the hamlet with my head craned towards the stars. With no light pollution, on a clear night, the display of stars and the moon was incredible – and the seed for this collection was planted.”
